What is the resource center?
In 2021, our House Parent's contract ended and we were tasked with searching for the next House Parents for The Reset Home. After months and months of fervently searching, praying, and asking God to send us the right people for the job, God (being the funny guy he is) sent us a different vision for what we would do with the Reset House.
In 2022, our team launched the
Reset Resource Center!
The Resource Center will serve as a safe space for our Community Teens in Williamson County to come and learn new life skills, participate in Teen Nights, access basic needs such as canned goods, food or toiletries, and it will give them daily access to trusted adults who can assist them in a time of need. It will also serve as a safe hang out space for our mentors and their mentees to come play a round of pool, watch a movie together, do some laundry, or even cook a meal in our fully stocked kitchen facility.
We will be working with the teens who have been put on probation and young adults aging out of Foster Care to help them learn essential life-skills that will best equip and help them in taking their next best step into adulthood.
